Why does SIDF need a Privacy Statement?
SIDF is a South Island Dairy business privately owned and operated by Paul and Julie Brown and their team. When we ask you to Join us we ask about personal information so we can tailor your SIDF experience and send you information that is relevant to your dairy farming interests.
At SIDF we take privacy and confidentiality seriously.
What information do we collect? How do we use it?
When you Join Us we need to know amongst other things your name, address, and e-mail address. This helps us to stay in touch and ensure we only send information that is relevant to you. We will use the information you provide to send you updates on our dairy farming news “Herd the latest”. At
ANYTIME
you can choose not to receive information from us just by (1) sending us an e mail and asking us to remove you from our database or (2) Electing not to receive further information from us by checking the box on the bottom of our Join Us form.
How do we protect your personal information?
When you register with us the information is held in a secure database that is not accesable from the Internet. Only key members of our
team have access to this information. We do not share access to this information or sell it to anyone.
What about "cookies"?
Cookies are small pieces of data used by web servers to help identify web users. We do not use cookies on our site.
Will SIDF give or sell the information it collects to others?
We do not sell or give your personal information to anyone. We choose what information is sent to you by the preferences you tell us
about when you register. We promise to send only information that is relevant and related to things that you have told us you are interested in.
If we ever decide to sell information in the future we will ask you for your written consent.
SIDF may release information when we believe, in good faith, that such release is reasonably necessary to (i) comply with the law, (ii)
enforce or apply the terms of any of our user agreements or (iii) protect the rights, property or safety of SIDF, our users, or others.
How can I see, update and modify my information?
Just send an e-mail to info@sidf.co.nz and we will send the information via e mail to the address you supplied on registration or via post if you prefer. In the very near future you will be able to log in to see and correct your information so you can always correct the details about yourself and we can always be kept up to date with the things you are interested in.
How do I unsubscribe or cancel my membership?
Simply send us an e mail, put UNSUBSCRIBE in the Subject line of the e-mail and don’t forget to tell us your name. We will then
remove you from our database and confirm when this is done.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We use the information we collect on the site to make supplying information or making
contact with us easier and a more personal experience. We do not sell or rent your personal information to others. If we ever decide to in the future we will ask you for your written consent.
